2018 PRODUCT LAUNCH ALGIDA MAGNUM
This project, which we carried out at the Suadiye store in 2018 for Magnum Ruby—one of Algida Magnum’s most exclusive series—is a boutique design project that blends the pleasure of ice cream with art. In this collection, where artists from various disciplines reinterpreted Magnum’s iconic form through their own artistic languages, we contributed a “floral installation” that reflected the Ruby ice cream’s characteristic color and floral notes.
For this project, we took Magnum’s classic silhouette as our foundation and designed three-dimensional paper flowers in various sizes and shapes, all crafted entirely by hand. This floral composition, featuring the distinctive pink and red hues of Ruby chocolate, highlights the product’s naturalness and elegance, while the delicate texture of the paper harmonizes with the ice cream’s simple, wholesome taste experience. Displayed in the store’s window, this massive prop is more than just a product mockup; it has become an installation that brings the brand’s aesthetic vision to the retail space (visual merchandising).
