2019 Mother's Day Paper Bouquet Workshop at Akbank
As part of a corporate event we organized for employees at Akbank’s headquarters, we held a paper flower workshop under the theme “Design Your Own Mother’s Day Flower,” offering an artistic and heartfelt break in honor of Mother’s Day. In this creative workshop, which was brought to life by the participation of Akbank employees, we shared the intricacies of paper crafting and together experienced the joy of creating lasting keepsakes with our own hands for our mothers—our most precious treasures.
In the workshop area set up at our headquarters, our participants were provided with colorful cardstock, specially cut templates, and shaping tools. Some set out to create a unique and unforgettable gift for the most special mother in their lives, while others worked petal by petal and leaf by leaf to learn how to make three-dimensional flowers, bringing to life the beautiful emotions that come with being a mother. The handmade flowers, shaped in vibrant shades of yellow and red, combined with dark green leaf forms to transform into elegant bouquets befitting the grace of Mother’s Day.
Balancing the fast pace of corporate life with the meditative and calming power of paper art, this corporate Mother’s Day workshop not only fostered wonderful interaction among employees but also provided an opportunity for a deep sharing of emotions. At the end of the day, each participant left our workshop with a unique paper bouquet—crafted entirely by hand from scratch—that offered a keepsake of such elegance and durability that they could cherish it for a lifetime as a gift for their mothers, making this shared creative experience all the more meaningful.
