2022 Wedding Decor at Ajia Hotel
Set against the enchanting atmosphere of the Bosphorus, we presented a holistic design for this wedding event held on the historic terrace of the A'jia Hotel, blending the art of paper with modern event design principles. The soft, blending pastel tones we chose throughout the design harmonized perfectly with the reflections of the sunset on the Strait, while adding an elegant and romantic depth to the venue’s historic character.
By prioritizing visual continuity at every stage of the event, we created a seamless design language—from the flower-adorned entrance stand that welcomed guests from the very first moment to the ceremony area. The floral arches—adorned with flowers yet retaining their simplicity—served as an aesthetic focal point for photo sessions and exuded an elegance that harmonized with the gentle breeze of the Bosphorus. For the dramatic entrance on the staircase, we created custom-designed paper flowers climbing along the banisters, accompanied by large freestanding floral installations on the floor, transforming the space’s vertical volume into an artistic garden.
In the table settings, we combined functionality and aesthetics into a single design. The paper bouquets adorning the tables served not only as decorative elements that complemented the pastel color palette but also as everlasting wedding favors for the guests. This holistic approach, in which every detail was handcrafted and harmonized with one another, allowed us to create not just a celebration space, but a magical atmosphere that will remain etched in guests’ memories.
